Is the browser companion free?
Yes. The companion is free to install and use. It scans your installed extensions, runs a server-side deep scan of unknown ones, and blocks malicious sites, trackers, miners, phishing, and dangerous downloads.
Which browsers does it support?
Chrome and Firefox. Install it from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons; it protects the extensions you already have installed and the sites you browse.
Does it read my other extensions' data?
No. The companion never reads another extension's files and never disables or removes one. It checks each installed extension against Extuno's threat database and warns you. The decision to remove stays with you.
How is it different from the full Extuno platform?
The companion is the free, in-browser layer that flags risky installed extensions and blocks malicious web activity. The full platform adds deep per-version scanning, version diffing, CI integration, and 12-ecosystem package coverage.
